RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2026-2027 SANITARY SEWER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $112,000.00 TO INCREASE THE 2026-2027 APPROPRIATED AMOUNTS FOR THE SANITARY SEWER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, the City Council is considering a change order number two with Walters-Morgan Construction, Inc., Manhattan, Kansas, for Project No. S-2302C - WRF Biosolids Addition; and

WHEREAS, the appropriated amounts for the 2026-2027 Sanitary Sewer Capital Improvement Department in the Sanitary Sewer Capital Improvement Fund must be increased by an additional $112,000.00 to provide funding S-2407C, 66th Street Industrial Park sewer line improvements; and

WHEREAS, there are funds available in the Enid Municipal Authority Sanitary Sewer account fund balance,

AND NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF ENID, OKLAHOMA, THAT THE CITY OF ENID 2026-2027 BUDGET BE AMENDED TO INCREASE THE APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE SANITARY SEWER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND SANITARY SEWER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT DEPARTMENT:

RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION DECLARING THE CITY OF ENID’S CONTINUED SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATION IN OKLAHOMA MAIN STREET CENTER, THE CONTINUED SUPPORT AND PARTICIPATION IN MAIN STREET ENID, PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITES.

WHEREAS, the Oklahoma Main Street Center has been established in the Oklahoma Department of Commerce to assist small towns and cities to develop a public/private effort to revitalize their “Main Street” areas; and,

WHEREAS, Main Street Enid, Inc has been active in assisting the City of Enid in revitalizing its historic central business district since 1994; and,

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Enid by and through its Mayor and Board of Commissioners, as follows:

Section I. That the City of Enid, Oklahoma supports participation in the 2026-2027 Oklahoma Main Street Center with the specific goal of revitalizing the central business district using the Main Street 4-Point Approach™.

Section II. That the City of Enid supports the long-term focus of the Main Street Program that results in continual effort and steady focus on maintaining and enhancing Enid’s downtown/historic district.
