IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF
GARFIELD COUNTY
STATE OF OKLAHOMA
In the Matter of the Estate of
BERT LEON HINDERLITER,
Deceased.
Case No. PB-2026-14
AMENDED
NOTICE OF HEARING
TO: All persons interested in the Estate of Bert Leon Hinderliter, deceased
You are hereby notified that on February 2, 2026, the Petitioner, Mary Beth Hinderliter, whose address is 2013 E. Birch, Enid, Oklahoma, 73701, filed in the District Court of Garfield County a Petition for Summary Administration and for Appointment of Special Administrator. The Petitioner has alleged that Bert Leon Hinderliter, at the age of 73 years, died on May 3, 2025, domiciled in and residing in Enid, Garfield County, State of Oklahoma, and that the probable value of the decedent’s property is $80,000.00.
The Petitioner has alleged that the decedent died intestate and has asked that this Court distribute the decedent’s estate pursuant to the laws of intestate succession for the State of Oklahoma and other summary proceedings pursuant to Okla. Stat. Ann. Tit. 58, §245, et seq.
In an Order for Combined Notice and a separate Order for Final Hearing entered herein, the Court found that it should dispense with the regular estate proceedings prescribed by law, and order notice for hearing upon the Petition for Summary Administration and for Appointment of Special Administrator and the Final Account and Petition for Determination of Heirs and Distribution of Property.
For good cause shown, Notice is hereby given that a final hearing originally set for April 14, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. is rescheduled and will be held on June 11th, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at the Garfield County Courthouse located at 114 W. Broadway Ave., Enid, Oklahoma 73701 before the Honorable Sean Hill. At the hearing the Court will decide whether to approve the Petition for Summary Administration and for Appointment of Special Administrator and the Final Account and Petition for Determination of Heirs and Distribution of Property of the Petitioner. The Final Account and Petition for Determination of Heirs and Distribution of Property is on file herein.
You are hereby advised that you must file objections to the Petition for Summary Administration and for Appointment of Special Administrator and the Final Account and Petition for Determination of Heirs and Distribution of Property at any time before the final hearing and send a copy to the Petitioner, Mary Beth Hinderliter, 2013 E. Birch Enid, Oklahoma 73701, or you will be deemed to have waived any objections. If you have no objections, you need not appear at the hearing or make any filings with the Court.
If an objection is filed before the hearing, the Court will determine at the hearing whether summary proceedings are appropriate and, if so, whether the estate will be distributed and to whom the estate will be distributed.
