RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE 2025-2026 WATER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND BUDGET BY APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $280,000.00 TO INCREASE THE 2025-2026 APPROPRIATED AMOUNTS FOR THE WATER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, funding for Change Order No. three on Project No. W-2114C1, Ames Raw Water Transmission Main Rehabilitation Creek Crossings (Turkey and Spring) is necessary in connection with the Kaw Lake Water Supply Program; and

WHEREAS, the appropriated amounts for the 2025-2026 Water Capital Improvement Department in the Water Capital Improvement Fund must be increased by an additional $280,000.00 to provide additional funding on Project No. W-2114C1, Ames Raw Water Transmission Main Rehabilitation Creek Crossings (Turkey and Spring); and

WHEREAS, an Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) grant of $2,000,000.00 has been awarded toward the project to provide the funding with a required 50% match from State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds; and

WHEREAS, funds will be transferred from the General Fund to the Water Capital Improvement Fund to provide the necessary funding;

AND NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF ENID, OKLAHOMA, THAT THE CITY OF ENID 2025-2026 BUDGET BE AMENDED TO INCREASE THE APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE WATER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND WATER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT DEPARTMENT:
