A Hearing on said petition is set for 10:30 o’clock A.M. on the 11th day of September, 2026, before Judge Hill in his courtroom in the Garfield County Courthouse. Should you know of some reason why this change of name should not be allowed you must file a written protest in the above styled and numbered cause prior to the above date with the Clerk of this Court. RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF ENID AUTHORIZING THE SUBMISSION OF A GRANT APPLICATION TO THE OKLAHOMA TOURISM AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT FOR THE NATIONAL PARK SERVICE’S OUTDOOR RECREATION LEGACY PARTNERSHIP GRANT AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR AND CITY STAFF TO EXECUTE ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS FOR SUBMITTAL TO THE OKLAHOMA TOURISM AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, the City of Enid is preparing an application to seek funding through the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department (OTRD) for the National Park Service’s Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership (ORLP) grant for the creation of a multi-sport complex;

WHEREAS, the proposed project is estimated to cost approximately sixty million dollars ($60,000,000.00) and that the City will be responsible for matching all awarded funds plus any additional expenses incurred outside of potential grant funds awarded and match.

WHEREAS, the City of Enid’s application for assistance is in the amount of fifteen million dollars ($15,000,000.00).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the City of Enid, Oklahoma, as follows:

that the Mayor and city staff are authorized to submit the City’s grant application including all related documents and forms.

RESOLUTION

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF ENID AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN OKLAHOMA HIGHWAY SAFETY OFFICE GRANT AGREEMENT AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR, ENID POLICE DEPARTMENT AND CITY STAFF TO EXECUTE ALL RELATED DOCUMENTS FOR SUBMITTAL TO THE OKLAHOMA HIGHWAY SAFETY OFFICE.

WHEREAS, the City of Enid Police Department has prepared an application and been awarded funding assistance from the Oklahoma Highway Safety Office; and

WHEREAS, the proposed funding of approximately one hundred four thousand dollars ($104,000.00) will assist the Enid Police Department with high visibility traffic enforcement and travel to State of Oklahoma training;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Board of Commissioners of the City of Enid, Oklahoma, as follows:

that the Mayor, Enid Police Department and city staff are authorized to execute the agreement and submit all related documents and forms.
